Hey everyone,
Imagine an IEM with four drivers, each a different type, at a sensible price with a beautiful tuning: the Simgot Supermix 4. The company sent a sample for review, and the opinions are my own.
Who is it for?
- Anyone who wants exceptional detail and strong gaming performance, and doesn’t mind a touch of brightness.
Strengths
- The cable is one of the nicest I’ve seen.
- Sound placement and the 3D feel are excellent, and the performance leans technical (55% technical, 45% musical).
- The bass is really excellent, and the mid-bass is moderate and ideal for my taste.
- For gaming, one of the best experiences: precise imaging, and footsteps are clear in every situation.
Weaknesses
- It’s bright, which might not suit sensitive ears, so I recommend a source with a touch of warmth.
Verdict
For detail and gaming, get it. If you want an IEM you can tune and that’s more musical, go for the Simgot EW300. Personally, I lean toward the EW300.
Note: this review is from 2024, so the price may have changed.
