Hey everyone,
An IEM that came out about a year ago, and as soon as I saw its measurements I wanted to try it: the Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite. Kiwi Ears sent a sample, and the opinions are my own.
Who is it for?
- People who like balance, moderate treble and excellent detail, and gamers.
Strengths
- The bass is balanced between sub and mid, with exceptional control and clear layers.
- BA drivers on the bass give a tight, fast bass that doesn’t bleed into the rest of the sound.
- For gaming the imaging is precise and footsteps are clear in every situation: one of the best gaming experiences.
Weaknesses
- There’s a fairly noticeable “BA timbre” in the bass, a different character from dynamic drivers.
- Bass lovers and bass heads should stay away (go for the KE4), and treble heads might not like it.
Verdict
If you like this sound signature and don’t mind BA timbre, it’s a really excellent option in its price range.
Note: this review is from 2024, so the price may have changed.
