Hey everyone,
This is my review of the Simgot EW300 DSP. It’s made of metal, and its USB Type-C cable has a built-in DAC chip and a mic, so you don’t need a dongle. It comes with nozzles and foam pieces that change the tuning. It was $79 at the time of the review. The company sent a sample for review, and the opinions are my own.
Who is it for?
- Bass and sub-bass lovers, gamers, and anyone who wants control over how their IEM sounds.
Strengths
- Full control over the bass and its quantity with the nozzles, tips and foam, which is rare at any price.
- The sub-bass is one of the best I’ve tried, and its extension reached 12 Hz for me.
- For gaming it’s one of the best IEMs for direction, even for sounds in front of you, above and below.
- It works for every kind of music and use, depending on the nozzle.
Weaknesses
- With the gold nozzle the bass can get annoying in games. The fix is the silver nozzle.
Verdict
I definitely recommend it: nozzles, foam and a cable with a built-in DAC, all for $79. That’s amazing.
Note: this review is from 2024, so the price may have changed.
