Hi everyone..
Have a happy evening or morning
Today we started a new project that’s been waiting for months
The project in short:
Making a headphone cable with strong performance at a reasonable price..
And after a lot of research and testing we settled on oxygen-free copper
(OFC)
And the cable was finished today, thank God
Cable length 2 meters
Materials I used in the process:
8 meters of raw cable
8 meters of Sleeve
Let us take you on a tour of some of the stages the cable went through
First: after the raw materials arrived
I put a sleeve on them (Sleeve)
As we see here:
Second: we got the tools ready that I might need while working on it
We fixed it to a piece that helps me while braiding
(Braided)
Bismillah, I started
True, it’s a bit tiring to get it right, but thank God with a lot of practice you get better than excellent results
And in the next photo we finished braiding most of the cable
What’s left is the second part, which is: where the cable splits into 2, right and left
And here we finished it, I gave it a twist
And here are some close-ups
Thank God it’s almost done, and we got the plugs ready for it
We prep the plugs themselves.. tin them so it’s easier to connect the cable

After soldering the plugs the work is basically done, we test the cable on the tester to make sure of the signal
and try it on a headphone
Then I put the heat shrink on.. and that’s the job done
We’ll leave you with some photos after it was finished
And before opening orders we need to test it heavily on a number of headphones whose performance I trust
And God willing, within a few days we’ll decide whether to open orders for it or not..
So far the results are very promising, thank God
But we need a bit of time to finish testing..
To wrap up..
Regards..
