Hey everyone,
This is my review of the SOUNDPEATS Clear, true wireless (TWS) Bluetooth earbuds with a design close to AirPods. The company sent them for review, and the opinions are my own, with no influence from them. They were about 99 riyals (about $26) at the time of the review.
Who is it for?
- Anyone who wants light, cheap Bluetooth earbuds for daily use, YouTube and casual gaming.
Strengths
- Really light (4.2 grams per earbud), with Bluetooth 5.3, AAC and IPX4 water resistance.
- Battery: 7 hours per earbud and 40 hours with the case.
- For gaming, the stage is wide and the imaging is excellent. There’s a game mode, and I didn’t notice any delay while watching videos.
Weaknesses
- Footsteps are weaker because of a dip around 200 Hz. A different EQ preset fixes it to some extent.
- The bass covers some details, and I didn’t test them in live gaming, so I can’t confirm there’s no lag while playing.
Verdict
If you prefer Bluetooth earbuds, they perform really well for the price.
Note: this review is from 2024, so price and availability may have changed.
