Is the SIVGA P2 Pro the Hidden Rival to Premium Headphones?

The video is in Arabic.

Hey everyone,

The SIVGA P2 Pro got really high ratings from most reviewers and users. Thanks to SIVGA for their continued support of the channel. An open-back headphone with a planar magnetic driver, 32 ohm and 98 dB sensitivity according to the company, and it weighs 435 grams. The cups are natural wood, and each headphone has its own grain. The official price at the time of the review was $450.

Who is it for?

• Anyone whose ears are sensitive to sharp, bright sounds, and who likes a warm neutral sound for music and movies.

Strengths

• Exceptional build quality for the price: metal, leather and natural wood, and I’ve never seen anything like it at this price.
• The pads are amazingly comfortable, with an opening that prevents pressure on top of the ear.
• The bass is 11 out of 10: balanced between sub and mid-bass, fast with excellent control, and I reached 14 Hz.
• The upper mids are some of the most beautiful I’ve heard: balanced, with no aggression or forwardness.
• The treble is natural with no harshness or sibilance, and its detail is great.
• Separation and clarity are 10 plus, and micro detail clarity is 11 out of 10 despite the warmth.

Weaknesses

• A big bump between 600 and 800 Hz gives a “honky” sound on some songs, especially with average recordings.
• The partial fix: a long burn-in (300 to 400 hours) and a half silver, half copper cable, which reduces the effect by about 80%.
• Very sensitive to recording quality.
• Treble heads and fans of brightness and lots of air won’t like it.
• Not for monitoring, or for gaming only. Zero isolation like any open back.

Verdict

I definitely recommend it, just keep in mind the 600 to 800 Hz region, and the need for a long burn-in and a cable change.
