Hey everyone,
I hesitated for about a year before doing this review, because the IEM WORLD store is the authorized dealer for Hisenior in Saudi Arabia. After lots of requests I decided to publish it. I was as strict as I could be with it while staying fair, with no rating numbers, just description.
Who is it for?
- Anyone who wants an IEM to get lost in the music with, for general use (more music than gaming).
Strengths
- Detail and micro detail are really excellent, with no harshness or brightness.
- Voices are natural, and the upper mids are balanced with no aggressive peaks.
- The treble is calm and relaxed, with no harshness and no sibilance.
- For gaming the stage is very wide, and the imaging is better than excellent.
Weaknesses
- It’s very sensitive to tips: Velvet tips took away 20 to 30% of the clarity, and Spring Tips are the best.
- If you like forward female vocals, or want exceptional, forward detail, it won’t suit you.
- I don’t recommend it mainly for gaming.
Verdict
If you want an IEM that makes you feel the music, this is my number one pick for you.
Disclosure: the IEM WORLD store is the authorized dealer for Hisenior in Saudi Arabia.
