Kefine Delci: A Detailed Review

The video is in Arabic.

Hey everyone,

The Kefine Delci is from a new company called Kefine. IEMs under $100 now compete with IEMs up to $500, in build and tuning. Thanks to the company for sending a sample for review, and the review is my own opinion with no interference. A single 10 mm dynamic driver, 28 ohm and 108 dB/V sensitivity according to the company, with a 2-pin connector. It’s full metal. It was $75 at the time of the review.

Who is it for?

• Anyone who wants a balance between technical and musical performance (about 55% technical), and gamers.

Strengths

• The soundstage is very wide and deep, and layering and separation are 10 plus: one of the best separations under $200.
• One of the strongest IEMs in its class for micro detail.
• The sub-bass extension is exceptional (I reached 12 Hz), and the mid-bass attack is excellent.
• The mids are balanced and natural with no bleed from the bass, and the upper mids have no aggression.
• The treble is airy and sparkly with excellent extension (I reached 19000 Hz).
• Comfortable, and the cable is excellent and doesn’t need replacing.
• For gaming, footsteps are forward and very clear.

Weaknesses

• A slight peak and harshness in the upper treble around 12500 Hz, and sounds there are thinner than natural.
• It’s clearly affected by the source, and with a warm source the bass bleeds.
• It didn’t suit me on loud songs with bells and hi-hats.
• It doesn’t give a purely musical presentation.

Verdict

One of the very suitable options in a crowded class, for anyone who prefers balance. Its tuning is similar to the Sennheiser IE 600 up to about 8000 Hz, so it’s a budget alternative to it, though the IE 600 is better.

Note: this review is from 2024, so the price may have changed.
