Sennheiser Momentum 3 Review: The Best Bluetooth Earbuds I’ve Tried So Far

The video is in Arabic.

Hey everyone,

The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 is the best sound I’d heard from true wireless earbuds at the time of the review. Thanks to my brother Jamal, who owns them. A single 7 mm dynamic driver, Bluetooth 5.2 with SBC, AAC, aptX and aptX Adaptive, and 7 hours of battery plus 28 hours from the case. The official price at the time of the review was $250, and I’ve seen them on sale for $199. This review covers sound only.

Who is it for?

• Anyone who only wants wireless earbuds and likes bass, especially on Android.

Strengths

• The soundstage is excellent in width, and resolution and clarity are excellent for wireless.
• Detail clarity is 10 out of 10, and the treble is one of the best I’ve heard on wireless.
• The bass is forward and fun: deep sub-bass with excellent air that suits bass heads.
• Comfortable: I wore them more than six hours without discomfort.
• I didn’t notice audio delay in games.

Weaknesses

• The included tips made the bass boomy and bleed into the mids: I got the best result with Tripowin foam tips.
• The mids are warm with slight bass bleed, and female vocals sit a bit back.
• The touch area is very sensitive and changes tracks by mistake.
• The other person on calls sounds like they’re in a tube.
• Isolation is weak compared with AirPods Pro 2.

Verdict

If you only want wireless earbuds and don’t want to try an IEM with a Bluetooth adapter, I don’t think you’ll find better sound. But they can’t compete with wired IEMs at the same price (like the Sennheiser IE 300).

Note: this review is from 2024, so the price may have changed.
