Hey everyone,
The most beautiful and best listening experience I’ve had so far, and it beat every headphone I’ve reviewed: the Mod House Tungsten DS. The headphone belongs to brother Abdulrahman, God bless him, and he sent it along with a lot of gear.
Who is it for?
- Anyone after a high-end headphone.
Strengths
- Separation, layering and clarity are at a level I can only call amazing.
- Strong dynamics give string instruments a beauty on another level.
- The upper mids are calm: no harshness, no brightness and no aggressive peaks.
- It comes with two sets of pads (hybrid and leather) and a high quality XLR cable.
Weaknesses
- The waiting list is long, and used units sell for more than new (about $2,400).
- With the leather pads, female vocals come forward a bit.
Verdict
In all honesty, I recommend it for anyone going high-end. I’ve tried the Susvara and the Focal Utopia, and I can say with confidence: this beats them.
Note: this review is from 2025, so the price may have changed.
